Шеф-повар (start up)

Description

We are looking for a Head Chef of a restaurant of Russian cuisine located in the downtown of Copenhagen. Candidates need to be fluent in English and have experience working in casual dining venues. The restaurant is 120 sq m and consists of a basement and a first floor. It will serve a classic Russian cuisine focused on exceptional skills of the chef and excellent ingredients. Overall, we expect appr. 90 guests per day divided between the restaurant and a vodka bar located in the basement. During the day we also expect guests for coffee and lunch. Various talks, discussions and lectures are planned on less busy days. The restaurant is being launched by Academic Travel Agency (Akademisk Rejsebureau), the largest travel agent to Russia in Denmark and Sweden. The opening is planned on October 1. 

Required experience

• Chef: 2 years minimum 
• Knowledge of Russian kitchen 
• Fluent English

Duties

• Plan and design the menu
• Develop recipes and determine how to present the food
• Coordinate planning and budgeting of food operations
• Supervise and coordinate activities of others cooks and food preparation workers
• Purchase ingredients and beverages 

Salary and benefits

• Starting from 2000 euros/month (candidate depending), 3 months probation period
